Postby discovery99 » Wed 14 Jun 2017 7:03 pm

Hill all can anyone tell me if replacing the aircon condenser a massive job as mine has a leak also I'm guessing by doing that it will clear the handbook and question mark symbol on my HEVAC.

Very kind regards.

It's not a hard job to do (did the same job on mine shortly after purchasing it)
get it degassed at a garage take it home and its a nuts and bolts job just remember to keep it cean no dirt or dust in the open ends of the pipes
once assembled you will need to go to a garage get it vacuumed out and pressure tested with a inert gas before charging with oil and gas
nuts and bolts bits easily done in under a day

you tube has videos on it if you search P38 aircon condencer replacement

Hi mate,
Yer took it out no probs found a massive hole in it so just waiting for replacement unit, that is once I've sorted the the overheating issue I've now got!!

Lol wouldn't be a proper LR without the odd problem.
