Assuming that you intend to get the lift for off road clearance, you would be better off getting a set of 16" rims as the available tyre sizes in AT / MT are much better, I have a set of AT2's on my 18"s and they are far better than the Wranglers on and off road and have done 35k miles with plenty left.

the lift is not just for off road i like the look of lifted disco 2s and just dont want the tyres to look too small when i get a 2 " ome lift ,i have been thinking about at2s for a while now but dont want to get the standard size if it is possible to fit a bigger profile tyre with the 2"lift fitted, also i would like to keep the 18" wheels i realise that the range of tyres for 16" wheels is more vast than for the 18" and i know 16"rims are better for off road but i would like to stick with the 18"

I had a word with the importers this morning they say if you lift it first they can't see any problems.

Is there a replacement speedo gear available for differing rolling radius tyres, as there is with 90's?
