Brake Servo Hissing

Postby Hoover » Sat 16 Apr 2011 1:31 pm

Hi

Using my trusty length of hose stuck in my ear I have found the source of the hissing under the bonnet of my 300tdi, it seems to be coming from a blistered area of paint near one of the 3 bolts holding the servo on.

So I guess this unit is shot?

Has any nice person out there done a guide on how to replace the servo, or can point me in the right direction.

Cheers

300tdi servo's can crack near the master cylinder bolt holes, only fix is a new servo.
