Defender 300TDI lift pump replacement

Hi

Need to change the fuel lift pump. Does the cam need to be in a certain position before taking off the old one.

Nope, just unbolt the fuel pipes & lift pump from the engine block & bolt the new lift pump on & reconnect the pipes, then just start it up, job done.
